Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Narra (writenarra.com), operated by Solva, 7F Na75, 22, Harmony-ro 178beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon 22011, Republic of Korea (business registration no. 593-79-00416). By creating an account or using Narra you agree to them.

1. What Narra does

Narra is self-serve writing software for authors of web serials: you plan a story, direct and edit its chapters, and Narra drafts chapters and keeps track of the story for you. It uses AI models from third-party providers (currently Anthropic for writing, and OpenAI to index your story so Narra can find relevant earlier events) to set up a story, plan and write episodes, keep notes on your story's characters and world (the Codex), rewrite passages you select, and translate stories between English and Korean. Narra does not create or control the models themselves.

2. AI drafts

AI models can make mistakes, repeat themselves or contradict earlier episodes, and the Codex can record something wrongly. You can edit any text and any Codex value. Treat AI output as a draft: you are responsible for reviewing and editing what you publish.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate information.
• Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

4. Plans and episodes

• Narra has no free plan. Writing episodes requires a paid plan.
• Narra Creator costs US$15 per month or US$150 per year and includes 50 episodes a month. Narra Pro costs US$29 per month or US$290 per year and includes 100 episodes a month. Tax may be added. Plans renew automatically until you cancel.
• Writing a new episode or translating one uses one episode. An episode is held when Narra starts and returned if Narra can't finish it. These don't use episodes: designing a story before Episode 1 and asking for a new design (up to 15 a day), title suggestions, editing, inline AI on paid plans (up to 30 uses a day), episode plans, Codex updates (including re-reading an episode you edited) and exports.
• You can switch between Creator and Pro at any time and the change takes effect immediately. An upgrade is charged for the rest of the current billing period at the difference in price, and this month's episodes grow by the difference. A downgrade credits the unused part of the higher plan toward future bills, and this month's episodes shrink by the difference, but never below zero.
• Episodes are part of your plan only. They have no cash value, cannot be bought separately, transferred or exchanged, and refill at the start of each billing month without rolling over.
• We may change prices or allowances with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

5. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes payments, handles tax and invoicing, and can help with order and billing questions. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

6. Content rules

Narra is built for fiction, including dark and violent fiction. You agree not to use Narra to:

• create sexually explicit content, or any sexual content involving minors;
• write about real, living people in a way that harasses, defames or sexualizes them;
• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including by copying another author's work into Narra to imitate or reproduce it;
• try to get around the AI providers' safety measures;
• resell or share access, scrape the service, or overload it.

Narra's writing steps follow these rules even when a direction asks otherwise. We may suspend accounts that break them.

7. Your stories

You own your stories: what you write and, to the extent the law allows, what Narra writes for you. You may publish them anywhere. Some publishing platforms require you to disclose AI assistance; following their rules is your responsibility. You give us permission to store and process your stories only to run Narra for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We don't use your stories to train AI models and we don't publish them.

8. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove models and features, for example when a provider retires a model. We try to keep Narra available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Keep your own copy of anything important: you can copy any episode's text, or export a story's episodes and settings as JSON or Markdown, at any time.

9. Ending your use

You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. On deletion, your stories and account data are removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Narra is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms and contact
