Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what Narra (writenarra.com) collects, why, and your choices. The controller is Solva, 7F Na75, 22, Harmony-ro 178beon-gil, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon 22011, Republic of Korea (business registration no. 593-79-00416), contact tilguks@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account: your name, email address and Google account ID from Google sign-in. Narra doesn't store a password for you.
- Stories: the genre, ideas, length and directions you give, the story's design (title, synopsis, story map), the episodes Narra writes and your edits to them, the Codex (characters and their looks, world, plot threads) and its change history, each episode's scene list and a record of its characters at that point, and translations you make.
- Usage: for each AI call, the step, model, token counts, cost and timing, and your episode allowance and its history.
- Payments: handled by Lemon Squeezy. We receive your subscription status and a customer reference, not your full card details.
- Technical: IP address and request logs used for security and to limit abuse (such as sign-in rate limits).
How we use it and why
- To provide Narra: writing and saving your stories, keeping their Codex up to date and showing your episodes left (performance of our contract with you).
- To bill you and prevent fraud and abuse (contract and legitimate interests).
- To understand costs and improve reliability, using usage records and counts (such as how many episodes stories reach) rather than reading your stories (legitimate interests).
We don't sell your data, don't use it for advertising, and don't use your stories to train any AI model. Your stories are private to your account.
AI providers
When Narra writes, rewrites, translates or remembers, the relevant parts of your story (its setup, recent episodes, Codex entries and your direction) are sent to the AI provider. Narra uses their paid API services, under which these providers don't use API inputs and outputs to train their models. Providers may keep data for a limited time to detect abuse, under their own terms.
Who processes your data
| Company | Country | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | United States | Website and application hosting; anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) without cookies |
| Neon Inc. | United States | Database (accounts, stories, Codex, usage records) |
| Anthropic PBC | United States | Writing, planning, rewriting and translating story text; reading episodes to update the Codex |
| OpenAI, L.L.C. | United States | Turning story summaries and Codex entries into search vectors so Narra can find relevant earlier events |
| Google LLC | United States | Google sign-in |
| Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) | United States | Error monitoring (technical error reports; no story text) |
| Lemon Squeezy, LLC | United States | Payments, tax and invoicing as Merchant of Record |
Your data is therefore transferred outside your country, including to the United States. Where required, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Stories stay until you delete them or your account.
- Account data, usage and credit records stay until you delete your account, and are then deleted. If you delete only a story, its content is removed but the usage records for it (model, tokens, cost) stay with your account.
- Payment and tax records are kept by Lemon Squeezy, as the seller of record, for as long as the law requires.
- Security and rate-limit records (when requests such as sign-ins and story designs were made, with the account, email address or IP address they came from) are kept to prevent abuse and to apply the refund policy. They aren't deleted automatically; ask us and we'll delete yours.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict some processing, and complain to your data protection authority. You can export your stories (episodes and settings, as JSON or Markdown), delete individual stories and delete your whole account yourself; for anything else, email tilguks@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Narra uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to secure sign-in with Google. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Visit statistics are counted without cookies and without identifying you.
Children
Narra is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We'll post changes here and tell you in Narra about significant ones before they take effect.
